CMC Q2 net profit up at Rs 10.35 crore

Mumbai, Oct 16 (UNI) CMC Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 10.35 crore for the quarter ended September 30 this year, as compared to Rs 9.46 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 197.56 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, to Rs 222.92 crore for the quarter ended September 30.

As per the consolidated results, the Group has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 11.94 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as compared to Rs 10.55 crore for the similar quarter the previous year. Total income has increased from Rs 210.01 crore for the quarter ended September 30 last year to Rs 242.25 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
