Canadian High Comm Malone meets Delhi CM

New Delhi, Oct 16: Canadian High Commissioner to India David M Malone called on Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in her office here today.

Mr Malone, who had been recently appointed in India, during his brief interaction with Ms Dikshit apprised her of the contribution of Indians settled in Canada, especially in Toronto and Vancour.

There were over 500 thousand Indians settled in Toronto and 1.5 lakh Indians in Vancouver.

Mr Malone appreciated the achievements of Delhi in the fields of environment and transport including roads and flyovers. He expressed confidence that hosting the 2010 Commonwealth Games would further bring substantial infrastructural development in the city.
