Bail denied to police officer

Patna, Oct 16 (UNI) A Special vigilance Court here today rejected the regular bail petition of Shahpur police station incharge Rana Ramesh Chandra Singh booked in a corruption case.

According to the charges the accused was arrested by vigilance investigation bureau while accepting an illegal gratification of Rs.15,000 under Shastri Nagar police station area on August 28, 2006.

Designated judge Ramniwash Prasad also rejected the regular bail petitions of three other persons, including a Mukhiya, Upendra Singh, in separate cases of corruption.
