Young performers enthrall audience at Youth festival

Jammu, Oct 15: Young students of various universities from across the country enthralled the audience with their perfomances of folk songs and dances of their respective states at the on-going National Integration-Cum-Youth Festival at Kud being organised by Patnitop Development Authority (PDA) and Department of Youth Services and Sports.

Attired in colourful traditional costumes, the participants kept the spectators spell bound by presenting Dogri, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Himachali, Bengali and Haryanvi folk items.

In another event 'Display Your Talent' contest, Nagpur University, Punjabi University Patiala and Calicut University Kerala jointly bagged the first prize while the second position was shared by four universities, which includes Kashmir University, Punjab University, Chandigarh, Rajasthan University and Dr Y S Parmar University, Solan (HP).
