White tiger dies at national park
Bhopal, Oct 15 (UNI) A white tiger, brought to the local Van Vihar National Park from Mumbai's Sanjay Gandhi National Park as part of an exchange offer, died of illness at about 0100 hrs today.
''A team of four veterinarians conducted the post mortem on Karan today. On October 11, the tiger suddenly stopped eating and treatment was provided. On October 13, the carnivore ate but its condition deteriorated early yesterday,'' said Park Director S K Chaudhry.
Four such tigers are still at Van Vihar. Karan and sibling Rashmi were brought here in April.
