UP govt is anti-farmer:JD(U)
Jaunpur, Oct 15 (UNI) The Janata Dal (United) today slammed the Samajwadi Party led Uttar Pradesh government for being anti-farmer.
Addressing a 'jan chetna' rally here, National Secretary of the party Sharad Yadav alleged that UP chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav is only interested in providing undue profit to big industrialists and is least concerned about the grievances of the poor farmers.
''The UP government is dancing on the tune of big industrialists and mafias,'' he alleged Expressing concern over the 'dismal' law and order problem in UP, Mr Yadav said people of the state lack basic amenities including water and electricity.
''The present government has failed on all aspects and has done nothing during the last three years of its reign.'' he maintained.
