Two killed, 18 injured in UP road accident

Lucknow, Oct 15 (UNI) At least two people were killed and 18 others injured after an Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus overturned today in Chandauli district.

The mishap occured near Nayantara under the Alinagar police station area, where the ill-fated bus, which was on its way to Varanasi, overturned, killing two passengers on the spot and injuring 18 others.

The injured were rushed to a hospital where the condition of eight of them was stated to be critical.

A case has been registered.
