TN Gov, CM greet Kalam

Chennai, Oct 15 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi greeted President A P J Abdul Kalam on his 76th birthday today.

In his message, Mr Barnala extended his greetings and good wishes to Dr Kalam and wished him a long, healthy and happy life in his mission to make India a developed nation.

Mr Karunanidhi said Dr Kalam, who was born at Rameswaram and hailing from a simple family, rose to great heights working for the Indian Space Department and drew the attention of the world for his work on Agni Missiles.

The Chief Minister wished Dr Kalam a long and happpy life.

Dravidar Kazhgam General secretary K Veeramani also extended his greetings to the President.
