SriLankan Airlines presents SriLankan Golf Classic 2006

Mumbai, October 15 (UNI) Sri Lankan Airlines, has announced a new package worth Rs 24,500, exclusive of taxes, in view of the forthcoming International Golf Tournament 2006, at the sprawling Victoria Golf Course in Kandy.

The Golf Tournament will be a four-day event from October 25-28.

The Package includes free accommodation, breakfast, arrival and departure facilities to and from the airport, and also a shuttle service during the event, a statement issued by Srilankan airlines said.

It is worth mentioning here that Victoria Golf Club is a spectacular site overlooking the sweeping panorama of the Victoria reservoir, where only the heavy sounds of gushing water intrudes into the silence of a golfing paradise.

The Airlines has also tied-up with 3 star hotels such as Mahaweli Reach Hotel, the Earls Regency and Tree of Life hotel in Sri Lanka.

The airlines Manager Mr Dimuthu Tennakoon, says that his company endeavours to promote sports tourism in Sri Lanka.
