SEZs to create employment opportunities for State development
Hyderabad, Oct 15 (UNI) The Special Economic Zones(SEZ) would create 4.70 new employment opportunities for the overall development and industrialisation of Andhra Pradaesh.
According to an official release, SEZs would create a conducive environment for investment and exports, providing quality infrastructure and attracting both foreign and domestic firms.
The Central Government had approved 48 SEZs for the State, including IT, ITES and 27 SEZs. The employment generation and technology transfer, owing to Foreign Direct Investment(FDI), would lead to further economic growth.
The State Government had launched Rajiv Yuva Shakthi programme to empower youth through self-employment.
