Pawar to inaugurate centenary celebration of ICAR, Pusa

Patna, Oct 15 (UNI) Union Agriculture minister Sharad Pawar will dedicate to the nation a laboratory-cum-office building at Patna centre of Indian Council of Agriculture and Research(ICAR) besides inaugurating the two day centenary celebration of ICAR, Pusa in Samastpur during his visit to the state tomorrow.

Official sources said here that besides Mr Pawar, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, Union Minister of social justice and empowerment Meira Kumar and Union Minister of state for agriculture Akhilesh Singh will participate in the function at Patna centre of ICAR.

Mr Pawar will also lay the foundation stone of a centenary building in the premises of the Pusa centre of ICAR in Samastipur.

Several eminent agriculture scientists from Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra will attend the centenary celebration.
