Pak to play India in tennis 'Test' series next month

Lahore, Oct 15 (UNI) Pakistan tennis team led by Aisam Qureshi will play a 'Test' series against India next month in the lead up to the Doha Asian Games.

The series would begin with the first leg in Islamabad on November 5 and Pakistan would field their Asian Games team of Aisam, Aqeel Khan, Asim Shafik and Nomi Qamar, The News reported.

Pakistan recently lost 2-3 to India in the Davis Cup World Group play-offs for Asia Oceania region in Mumbai.

Pakistan are pinning hopes on Aisam and national champion Aqeel to pull off some upsets against their more fancied sides from India, China and Thailand and win a medal in Doha.
