Koda govt in J'khand a temporary arrangement: Biswas
Ranchi, Oct 15 (UNI) Causing an embarrassment to the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government in Jharkhand, the All India Forward Bloc today said it was only a temporary arrrangement and that it did not have a clear mandate to rule the state.
The party is extending outside support to the Koda government.
Party's national General Secretary Devabrat Biswas, addressing a press conference here, claimed that the new government would also fail to meet the expectations of the people.
He said the erstwhile Arjun Munda-led NDA government also did not have a mandate but they came to power by ''indulging in horse-trading''.
But the present government, led by Mr Koda, was dominated by some people, who have the habit of changing loyalties frequently, he said, adding the people could not expect stability from the new ruling dispensation either.
''We wanted to oust the communal and corrupt NDA. That is why we extended support to the Koda-led group,'' he said, adding the party would keep a strong vigil on its performance.
