Kidnapped in Himachal, rescued in Bihar

Purnia, Oct 15 (UNI) A child, kidnapped from Solan in Himachal Pradesh on October seven, was rescued from Durgapur village under Bhawanipur police station here last night, police said today.

District Police Superintendent Sudhanshu Kumar said acting on a tip off, a sleuth of local police raided a hide-out in Durgapur village and rescued the abducted child.

Two kidnappers were arrested during the search operation, he added.

The abductors were earlier working in Solan as labourers.

Later, the police handed over the child to his parents.
