Kidnapped in Himachal, a child rescued in Bihar

Purnia, Oct 15 (UNI) A child kidnapped from Solan in Himachal Pradesh on October 7 was rescued from Durgapur village under Bhawanipur police station area here last night.

District Superintendent of Police Sudhanshu Kumar said today that acting on a tip off, local police raided a hide out in Durgapur village and rescued the abducted boy.

Two kidnappers were also arrested during the operation, he added.

The abductors were earlier working in Solan as labourers.

The child was handed over to his parents through Himachal Pradesh police, he said.
