Feuding Pakistani tribals slay 6 men at mosque
Quetta (Pakistan), Oct 15: Gunmen shot dead six members of a rival clan while they were praying in a mosque in Pakistan's southwestern Baluchistan province, police said today.
The worshippers were offering special prayers late yesterday during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, when four gunmen barged into the mosque near Khuzdar city, 320 kms southeast of provincial capital Quetta. The men opened indiscriminate fire, Babar Gul, a senior police official said.
''The cause of tragic incident was an old enmity between the two groups of Zehri tribe,'' Gul said, adding that four people were wounded.
