Cong, BJP and BSP are colluding against SP:Mulayam Singh Yadav

Haridwar, Oct 15 (UNI) Asking people to gear up for coming assembly elections in four states, including Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, Samajwadi Party president and UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today alleged that the Congress, the BJP and the BSP were colluding against his party.

''These parties have no principles and are fast losing their mass base. In the next assembly elections, the Samajwadi Party will return to power in UP. In Uttaranchal also, no party will be able to form the government without our support,'' he asserted while addressing a public rally at PBM Inter College grounds here this afternoon after the two-day national executive committee meeting of the party.

Assailing the anti-people policies of the UPA government at the Centre, Mr Yadav said prices of essential commodities were spiralling, farmers were committing suicide, unemployment was rising and internal security of the country was in peril due to rising graph of terrorists' attacks from across the border.

''Due to wrong foreign policy of the Central government, the country's prestige in international community has been lowered,'' he said.

He demanded Uttaranchal counterpart ND Tiwari to give unemployment allowance to the jobless, adequate insurance cover to the farmers and implement Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojana on the pattern of UP or quit office.

Referring to the resolution on Uttaranchal passed by the national executive committee today, Mr Yadav said the UP state assembly, while passing the resolution for the creation of Uttaranchal, had never mentioned the inclusion of Haridwar district in the new state.

''The people of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts are being discriminated against in Uttaranchal. Our struggle for the exclusion of the two districts from Uttaranchal will continue,'' he said.

He announced that whenever his party would share power at the Centre, the two districts would be restored to the parent state of UP.
