Chhattisgarh to ban polythene

Raipur, Oct 15 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today said that a law would be framed for banning polythene in this state.

''The bill will be drafted after studying similar legislation in states such as Maharashtra and Gujarat,'' he said while addressing a programme at the Central Jail here.

Among those present was MP Ramesh Bais.
