Bush-World united against NKorea nuclear arms

Washington, Oct 15: US President George W Bush today called a new United Nations Security Council resolution on North Korea swift and tough, and said it showed the world's unity against Pyongyang's nuclear ambitions.

Bush told reporters that the message from the UN resolution on North Korea was, ''The world is united in our opposition to its nuclear weapons plans.'' The UN Security Council voted 15-0 today to impose financial and arms sanctions on North Korea to punish the reclusive Communist nation for its nuclear weapon test.
