AIADMK candidate's car burnt

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 15 (UNI) Tension prevailed in a polling booth at Woraiyur Area as miscreants set ablaze a car belonging to an AIADMK candidate today.

Police said Ms Vanitha contesting the 57th ward had parked her car near the All Saints Middle School when it was set on fire.

A large number of AIADMK cadre gathered in the area on coming to hear about the incident.

Police rushed to the spot to defuse the situation.
