VSP records Thermal Coal quantity

Visakhapatnam, Oct 14 (UNI) A record quantity of 23,533 tonne of Thermal Coal was loaded into K V APJ Akhil today.

A release from the Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) here said the previous record of 23,338 metric tonne loaded on to M V Ocean Emperor was registered.

The cargo relates to M/S Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Chennai, M/S South India Corporation Ltd, the Stevedores ANL and M/S J B Baxi, the release added.
