'UP' coming Health drink launched in Chennai

Chennai, Oct 14: The Chennai-based Energy Foods, working towards alternative remedies for medicines through Herbal solutions, has launched ''UP,'' an energy drink for adults.

Priced at Rs 630 for 200 grams, UP is a natural vital energy enhancing drink for adults above 18.

The energy drink was produced using the tools of modern sciences and with the joint efforts of doctors and agricultural engineers using natural plant derivatives by focussing on healthy living and longevity.

Launching the product here last night, Dr G Anbuganapathy, Scientific Advisor, CCRAS, New Delhi, said UP was a pure herbal product and an output of 40 years of intensive research in the field of Siddha.

Observing that Siddha was the ultimate solution for all ailments, he said people of all continents have used thousands of indigenous plants for treatment of various ailments dating back to the prehistoric period.

'With more and more people becoming increasingly conscious of what goes into their bodies, the herbal care industry is all set to play a significant role in the international market,'' he added.

Energy Foods Director T G R Kunjharhamoney said the company was focussing on developing safe, natural and innovative remedies to help people to lead happier and healthier lives.

Noted film Director K Bhagyaraj and Actor Livingston graced the occasion.
