Tripura Govt takes up action plan for education

Aagartala, Oct 14 (UNI) Tripura government has decided to take up a Rs 100 crore action plan for infrastructure development of the state's higher education.

Under the three year action plan, the state government would introduce new subjects in the syllabus, recruit new professors in 14 degree colleges, Law colleges, B.Ed college and Polytechnic college in the state, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said.

He told at a meeting with the professors here that the plan would be implemented step by step.
