Silver, gold rise to a two-week high

Mumbai, Oct 14: Spot silver and gold today rose to a two-week high on fresh buying support in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association today said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 18,421 (18,115) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,745 (8,600) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 8,800 (8,650).
