Seven new police stations for Gurgaon
Gurgaon, Oct 14 (UNI) The Haryana government has sanctioned seven new police stations for Gurgaon city and these will start functioning within a month.
This was stated today by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Gurgaon Range, Mr Mohinder Lal while addressing an interactive session organised by the Joint Action Forum of Residents Association.
He said the Haryana Government was all set to strengthen the police force for the effective prevention of all kinds of crime in the state, especially in the National capital Region (NCR).
The opening of new police stations in this industrial hub was first step in this direction, he added.
He said that around 50 new vehicles were being added to the existing fleet of police vehicles for ensuring better and efficient patrolling.
