Railways to decorate stations with murals: Mandal

Barrackpore, Oct 14 (UNI) Eastern Railway's Sealdah Division will create murals of various historical figures.

The first president of Indian National Congress Surendranath Bandopadhyay's image would be seen among the murals in the railway station here, Barrackpore Divisional Railway Manager S K Mandal said here today.

Image of martyr Mangal Pandey would also be seen among the murals, he said.

The railway authorities have already announced Barrackpore Station as a ''Heritage Station'' and sanctioned funds for development of the station.
