One held with bogus passport

Chennai, Oct 14 (UNI) Airport police arrested a person for attempting to fly to Kaulalampur by using bogus passport, at Anna International airport, early here today.

The arrested Muthukumar, hailing from Kerala, came to the airport to catch the Kaulalampur-bound Indian Airlines flight.

The immigration authorities found the passport bogus, when he produced it for verification.

Later, they handed over him to the police. He was arrested and remanded in judicial custody, police said.
