Objectionable paper case: Youth Cong leader arrested

Moradabad, Oct 14 (UNI) Police today arrested a Youth Congress office-bearer allegedly involved in the recovery of some objectionable papers here.

Tension had gripped after some objectionable papers hurting the religious sentiments of the minority community were recovered in Baradari locality on Sunday.

Irked over the incident, a mob gathered near Baradari Tehsil School, Kuccha Bagh, and shouted slogans throwing traffic out of gear.

Acting on a tip-off, senior police Superintendent Sujit Pandey accompanied by local police rushed to the spot and pacified the mob.

Rapid Action Force was also deployed to avoid voilence.

Later, an FIR was filed against the unidentified people.
