Night cuefew imposed in some parts of Udhampur

Jammu, Oct 14 (UNI) The District Magistrate, Udhampur has imposed night curfew from 2200 hours to 0500 hours in some areas of Reasi sub-division for a two-month period, to curtail civilian and security forces' causalties during counter-insurgency operations.

District Magistrate O P Kalandria declared night curfew under section 144 of the CrPC. The order would remain in force for a period of two months from the date of issuance.

The areas of the sub-division where night curfew would remain in force include Audan, Chakalsalta, old Lambi Bari, Hansawali Gali, Thakrakote, Thanpal, Arnas and Chinkah.
