Jaipur, Oct 14 (UNI) BCCI Vice President Lalit Modi remains relentless in his tirade against ICC and the firebrand official announced today that the Board won't compromise on the sponsorship row with the governing body.

Mr Modi, also the Rajasthan Cricket Association chief, made it clear that BCCI can't be browbeaten into signing the ICC Members Playing Agreement (MPA).

''We won't compromise on the MPA and we can't be forced to sign an MPA that doesn't work,'' Mr Modi told reporters here.

He said the MPA doesn't consider tehj regular problems and it's flawed.

''It's not the big picture. When you look at the micro level, we face several problems in the day-to-day working. How to handle catering, accreditation, security -- these issues are not satisfactorily handled,'' he argued.

He said the ICC was in a hurry to get the MPA signed but BCCI won't oblige.

''The ICC is definitely in a hurry to sign the MPA but we would speak our mind, for we've nothing to hide,'' Mr Modi asserted.
