Mumbai, Oct 14 (UNI) West Indian skipper Brian Lara today won the toss and elected to bat in the last qualifying game against Sri Lanka in the ICC Champions Trophy at the Brabourne stadium here.

The West Indies made two changes from the team that beat Bangladesh, bringing in Fidel Edwards and Dwayne Smith for Jerome Taylor and Ian Bradshaw.

The Lankans, on the other hand, brought in their experienced pace bowler Chaminda Vaas for Ruchira Perera.

Both these teams have already qualified and the only bone of contention is which group these teams would be slated in. In case of a Windies win, they would be put in Group 'B' where they will join South Africa, Pakistan and New Zealand, while a loss would put them in Group 'A' along with India, Australia and England.

The teams: Sri Lanka: U Tharanga, S Jayasuriya, M Jayawardene, K Sangakkara, M Atapattu, T Dilshan, M Maharoof, C Vaas, M Muralitharan, L Malinga, D Fernando.

West Indies: B Lara, R Sarwan, C Baugh, D Bravo, S Chanderpaul, C Collymore, F Edwards, C Gayle, WW Hinds, MN Samuels, D Smith.
