J K bank records net profit of Rs 84.02 crore
Jammu, Oct 14 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir bank has recorded a 54 per cent hike in its net profit to Rs 84.02 crore in the second quarter of 2006-07, from Rs 54.97 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2005-06.
The bank's operating profit has gone up by 34 per cent at Rs 142.88 crore as compared to Rs 106.79 crore in during the period of 2005-06, a company statement said.
The total business turnover has increased to Rs 34,412 crore in the first two quarters 2006-07, an increase of 9.32 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
