Isolated rain in coastal Andhra

Hyderabad, Oct 14 (UNI) Isolated rain occurred over Coastal Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours even as the South West monsoon withdrew from parts of Telangana and dry weather prevailed over this region and Rayalaseema, the Met office here said.

Isolated rain or thundershowers were likely to occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh in the next 48 hours.

The city would experience generally cloudy skies. The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 33 and 21 deg C, respectively.

The maximum temperatures fell at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and changed little over Rayalaseema. They were significantly above normal at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema and above normal at a few places over Telangana.

The highest maximum temperature of 36 deg C was recorded at Tuni.

The minimum temperatures fell at a few places over Rayalaseema and changed little over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. They were normal over the state. The lowest minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius was recorded at Hyderabad airport, Hakimpet airport and Medak.
