Increased skills to tap natural resources: Limpopo

Hyderabad, Oct 14 (UNI) Premier of Limpopo Province, South Africa, Sello Moloto today underscored the need to increase skills to exploit the huge natural resources available in India and South Africa.

Addressing the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) here, he said both the countries had signed many bilateral agreements which were to be implemented.

He said both the countries had huge natural resources but had to increase the skills to exploit them to increase quality of life.

Science and Technololgy should be utilised to increase the skills, he said.

He said the Indian IT companies especially Satyam Computers had been training many South African students. He invited a state delegation to South Africa to determine the areas of mutual cooperation.

Deputy Chairman Agriculture Technology Mission D A Somayajulu claimed that the state had become a power surplus and one of the largest foodgrain producers in the country. He said the state was also having good non-conventional energy resources.
