IED blast in Baramulla

Baramulla, Oct 14 (UNI) Panic gripped the Azad Gunj area in this district when militants detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) this evening, official sources said.

They said militants detonated an IED at Gulnar Park in this district this evening, soon after the Muslims broke the Ramzan fast, thereby creating high panic in the vicinity.

The doors and windowpanes of nearby buildings shattered due to the impact of the blast, which was also heard in the nearby villages. However, no casualty was reported, the sources added.
