Haryana namesteam for National Youth Athletic championships

Chandigarh, Oct 14 (UNI) Naresh Malik of Hisar district will lead the Haryana Junior Athletic Team which will take part in the third National Youth (under 18 years) Athletic Championship to be held at Warangal (AP) on October 24 and 25.

According to Mr H S Bhadu, Secretary, Haryana State Athletic Association the members of the teams are Navjot Singh (High Jump), Rakesh Kumar and Mahavir Singh (3000 meters steeple chase), Naresh Kumar (1500m, 5000 m), Hari Parkash (long jump), Devender Kumar (400 meter), Sunil Kumar (Javelin Throw), Ajay Rathi (10 km walk), Manjit Singh (shot put), Simranjit Kaur (Javelin Throw), Aarti Yadav (high jump), Sumitra (Javelin throw), Nisha (discuss throw) and Anila (400, 800 meter).

The manager of the team will be Mr Rajiv Khatri.
