Former SP MLA's wife booked in murder case

Bhadhoi, Oct 14 (UNI) The wife of a former Samajwadi Party MLA was booked in a murder case here today .

Police said Reeta Devi, wife of former SP MLA from Aurai constituency Udai Bhan Singh alias Dr Singh,and her aides took one Jeet Narayan Bind along charging him with stealing a mobile phone.

Later, Jeet's body was recovered.

An FIR was lodged by deceased's mother Gena Devi against Reeta and five others.

The former SP MLA has also been sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder of three people under Gopiganj police station area.

Following the charge the Election Commission disqualified the Vidhan Sabha membership of Dr Singh.
