Dharwad records lowest temperature of 18.6 Deg. Cel.

Bangalore, Oct 14 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Southwest Monsoon has been withdrawn from Bidar and Gulbarga districts of North Interior Karnataka. Monsoon was weak over the State. Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka.

Dry weather prevailed over Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Dharmasthala 3, Mangalore AP 2, Puttur 1.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and avove normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were normal over the State.

Bellary recorded the highest maximum temperature of 35.1 deg.

Celsius and Dharwad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 18.6 deg. Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kolar, Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajnagara, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban and Tumkur districts of South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Thundery conditions may develop towards evening/night. Maximum&minimum temperatures would be around 30 deg. Celsius and 19 deg. Celsius respectively.
