Customers cheat trader of diamonds worth Rs 6.75 lakh

Surat, Oct 14 (UNI) A diamond merchant in the city was cheated of diamonds worth Rs 6.75 lakh by two customers.

According to the complaint filed with Katargam police station two customers who had approached diamond trader Moti Maganji Rathod to buy diamonds, replaced the real with fake ones when Rathod gave them to examine.

When the duo returned Rathod the 19 diamonds given by him, Rathod realised that he was conned by the duo and he immediately filed a police complaint.
