Chhetri, Climax called for Beijing Olympic qualifiers

New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) Sunil Chhetri, Subrata Pal and Climax Lawrence were today included among the 26 footballers called for an eight-day coaching camp at Goa starting on Monday for Beijing Olympic qualifiers.

Players who are taking part in the ongoing Santosh Trophy quater-final league at Gurgaon were not named for the camp to be held from October 16 to 23, an AIFF release said here.

The football competition in the Olympics is an under 23 affair but three players above the prescribed age can be named in the squad of any country.
