Two detained at airport

Kolkata, Oct 13(UNI) Two passengers were detained at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport today for allegedly getting into an altercation with the employees of a private airline following a dispute over sitting in the airline's lounge in the domestic terminal.

Airport sources said the two Delhi-bound passengers with ordinary class tickets were having food in the lounge reserved for the airline's executive class passengers in the afternoon.

Despite objections by the airline staff, the two allegedly refused to leave the lounge.

Security personnel had to rush in to control the situation. The passengers were handed over to police.
