Two arrested near Indo-Bangla border
Shillong, Oct 13 (UNI) The BSF has apprehended two people including a coal exporter, from Tamabil village near Indo-Bangla border in Meghalaya.
They were arrested yesterday and identified as Warcus Sungoh, the coal exporter and Mon Myrchiang. Both of them were returning to India from Bangladesh. Rs 50,400 was seized from their possession.
The BSF official said the seized money was paid by the coal importers in Bangladesh for excess coal delivered by the trader beyond the permissible limit.
Meanwhile, the arrested persons have been handed over to the Meghalaya police.
