Sensex up 158 pts in intra-noon trade

Mumbai, Oct 13: The Bombay Stock Exchnge (BSE) Sensitive index has maintained its upwards movement and trades 158 points up at 12,696 in the intra-noon trade, though giving fears of another profit booking, which lurks round the corner according to a few experts.

Major sectors are trading in the green led by Technology sector up by 2.01 per cent, IT up 1.96 per cent and FMCG up by 1.24 per cent. However, the Auto and Consumer Durables sectors have gone in the red in the noon trade.

Major gainers on the BSE-30 index are Reliance Communications, HDFC Bank, Infosys, BHEL, ONGC, Wipro, HLL, ITC, Reliance Industries and HDFC all up between 1.55 to 4.49 per cent.

Besides the losers are Bajaj Auto, Cipla, Tata steel, SBI, Gujarat Ambuja, ACC, Reliance Energy and L&T all down between 0.07.
