Santhanaraman appointed BoB executive director

Mumbai, Oct 13: The Central Government has appointed Mr V Santhanraman as executive director of the Bank of Baroda (BoB) with effect from October 10 till August 31, 2009.

Mr Santhanaraman was general managar in Indian Bank. He had joined the Indian Bank as a probationary officer on April 27, 1970, and has served in various capacities at Mumbai, Kolkata, Coimbatore and Chennai.

Mr Sathanaraman has a rich banking experience, haing served the Indian Bank for 36 years, a BoB press release said.
