RJD MP Sadhu Yadav's anticipatory bail rejected
Patna, Oct 13 (UNI) Patna High Court today rejected the anticipatory bail petition of RJD MP Anirudh Prasad Yadav, alias Sadhu Yadav, in connection with a flood relief scam.
Justice Mridula Mishra disposed of the petition filed by Mr Yadav, rejecting his plea for anticipatory bail.
Mr Yadav had filed an anticipatory bail petition in the court the hearing on which was concluded on October 9. Justice Mishra had reserved her order in the matter.
A case was lodged by the Bihar State Vigilance Bureau against Mr Yadav charging him with tampering the documents in collusion with the then district transport officer of Patna, Brij Raj Rai, for procuring ownership papers of a car, which the RJD leader had sold to the father of the main accused of the flood relief scam, Santosh Kumar Jha. Mr Rai is languishing in jail in connection with the case.
