One more arrested in SSLC leak case

Kochi, Oct 13 (UNI) The CBI today arrested Deputy Director of Education V Sanu in connection with the SSLC question paper leak case.

The investigating agency arrested Mr Sanu, a former Secretary of the SSLC Pareeksha Bhavan, on charges of manipulating tenders for awarding Contracts for printing of question papers.

A CBI special court remanded him to custody till October 18.

Meanwhile, former superintendent of the Pareeksha Bhavan C P Vijayan Nair, who was arrested along with former Secretary Raveendran on October 12, was granted conditional bail for a bond for Rs 50,000 along with two solvent sureties of the like amount.

The court directed Mr Vijayan to report to police on any day in a week for the next three months.

Mr Raveendran was remanded to the CBI custody till October 16.
