Woman serious in Myanmarese attack

Aizawl, Oct 13: The Mizoram-Myanmar border has been tensed following attacks on a 42-year-old Mizo woman by a group Myanmarese nationals in Champhai district last night.

Police officials here today said they have arrested one of the attackers with a knife.

The woman, resident of the districts Dinthar village, had sustained serious injuries all over her body and is undergoing treatment at a nearby civil hospital.
