Militant's father booked under PSA for two years
Jammu, Oct 13 (UNI) The father of a Hizbul Mujahideen top militant who allowed a stay in his Reasi house to militants before setting out for an attack on the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi a few months back, has been booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA).
The Jammu and Kashmir government issued a warrant of the Haji Nizam-ud-Din's PSA detention for a period of two years. The District Magistrate, Udhampur formaly issued the order yesterday. Haji's son, Anwar is a top HM militant and operating in Anantnag district of the Kashmir valley.
According to investigations conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir police, two militants who were gunned down by security forces a few months back when they were heading towards the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, had stayed in the Haji's house before leaving for the attack.
They had been deputed from Kashmir for the attack but were eliminated before they could succeed in their designs.
