Managemantra event begins on Oct 27

Chennai, Oct 13 (UNI) Aiming to spot and showcase the young managerial talent in the Management colleges, the Confederation of Indian Industry (Southern Region) with Cerebrus Consultants as the Knowledge Partner, is organising its annual event 'Managemantra' here on October 27 and 28.

The Fifth Edition of Managemantra would be participated by more than 400 final year MBA students representing over 70 institutions in Southern Region, a CII release here said.

For the fresh MBAs, the event provides an opportunity to benchmark managerial excellence and gauge their overall score in employability.

For the corporate world, the event offers some of the best available young managerial talent from the entire Southern Region at a single forum and available for immediate employment.

The event rewards the winners not only with cash prizes but also presents a good opportunity to get noticed by some of the most respected business houses in the country for possibility of recruitment.

For the academic community it is a great platform to gauge what industry seeks in new entrants in order to align their curriculum and inputs to industry requirements.

There would be a contest and the the winners of Managemantra 2006 will carry cash prizes of Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively, the release added.
