Labourer hit by train dies

Puducherry, Oct 13 (UNI) A middle-aged labourer died rpt died on the spot when the Puducherry-Chennai express train hit him at Mudaliarpet near here early today.

According to police, C Sivalingam of Kandamangalam came here to see his wife Bhuvaneswari admitted to the government general hospital yesterday. He slept on the roadside.

While crossing the railway track behind the Jeevandam school this morning the train knocked him.
